Bexhill Wheelers started with the help of Hastings Urban Bikes, in January 2008. HUB have worked together with Hastings Borough Council and achieved great facilities for Hastings and pointed out the lack of facilities in Bexhill.

Since then the club has been campaigning for cyclists and cycling facilities in Bexhill.  It became obvious that there was a common interest and desire to bring issues further up Rother District Council agenda.

Our prime aim was the promenade where cycling was not allowed. This has now been designated as a dual use area for pedestrians and cyclists.
